How to lend game assets?

Lenders will be able to select multiple game assets to deposit into our contract to be available for borrowing in a single transaction. You will receive a Rentero assets provider token. These tokens track your contribution to the pool and are used for distributing your share of the profit accumulated in the time period that you provide assets for.

Lenders can set the following options on each game asset:

• Profit sharing ratio: revenue share is the % fee that the Lender will take for all the rewards earned by the Borrower for this asset

• Maximum duration: this is the maximum amount of time a borrower will be able to hold the asset before it is forcibly returned back to the Lender

• Stake amount (targeted earning per day): Scholar has to stake corresponding amount of Rent Tokens

  • Rentero protocol will suggest a fair daily reward amount based our algorithm(considering assets attributes, earning history and price history).

  • The lender may also set the stake amount regardless of the suggested rate.

  • Targeted earning is specified in # of SLP

Returning NFT

A Lender can redeem their unborrowed assets from the Marketplace back into his/her wallet at any time with his or her Rentero assets provider token.

However, for assets that is currently being borrowed, Lenders cannot get back their assets until the assets is released from the Borrower (either by returning, or by the Worker Bot)

Security

Game assets lent on the platform that has not been borrowed are moved by our smart contract to a multi-sig wallet. The multi-sig wallet is controlled by Rentero DAO and our smart contract. Game assets currently being borrowed are moved to whitelisted EOAs owned by our team, as we are providing custodial services. This way any borrowers do not have ownership control over the assets.

Rentero assets provider token

Rentero assets provider token is a non-fungible token that is used to track your contribution to the pool and are used for distributing your share of the profit accumulated in the time period that you provide assets for. You can also trade this token on any NFT marketplace, but transferring it means transferring the game assets you lend out and all the yield generated from them on Rentero platform.
